Every line you clear moves your car closer to the finish. While rivals work on their own boards, you search for the right place for the next piece. One smart placement can change the race: clear 60 lines before anyone else to win.

How to play: BlockRally

  1. Open the game and choose a name. Select Play now for a race with three bots, or create a room for your friends.
  2. Move and rotate the falling pieces to fill complete horizontal rows. Cleared lines disappear and move your car along the track.
  3. Watch your board and the central track. Clear 60 lines before your rivals without letting blocks pile up to the top. Pieces fall faster as the game progresses.

← / → or A / D: move; ↑ / W: rotate; Z: rotate the other way; ↓ / S: soft drop; Space: hard drop; C / Shift: hold.

Mobile

Use the on-screen buttons or gestures: swipe sideways to move, tap to rotate, swipe down to hard drop and swipe up to hold.

Tips for your first game

  • Leave space for long pieces and avoid trapping empty cells underneath blocks.
  • Use hold when a piece does not fit. Watch the next pieces and plan more than one move ahead.
  • Practise with bots before inviting friends. The rules and the 60-line finish are the same.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a standard falling-block game?

It uses familiar falling pieces and full rows, but every cleared line also drives a car in a race against other players or bots.

Can two friends play together?

Yes. Create a two-player room and have your friend join it. Each player uses a separate device.

Do I need to download anything?

No. BlockRally runs in your browser. An internet connection is needed for the shared room.
