How to play: Detective: Your Case

Select Play, choose an unlocked case and read the briefing.
Hover over an object or select it to examine a clue. Important findings are saved in your case notebook.
Interview witnesses. Evidence and other statements unlock new questions. Compare their accounts: people may be mistaken or conceal the truth.
Once you have gathered the materials, present your theory: who committed the crime, how and why. A correct solution reveals an explanation of the case.

Select objects and witnesses on the map. On a phone, you can also use the object list below the scene.

Keyboard

Use Tab to focus controls, then Enter or Space to select an object. Review your findings in the notebook.

Tips for your first game

Compare documents, objects and statements. Emotions alone do not prove guilt.
Examine important objects and ask the available questions before presenting your final theory.
Sign in to Igrodvor before playing to use your account progress on other devices. Guest progress remains separate.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to download anything?

No. Play directly in your browser. An internet connection is needed to retrieve case materials and save your progress.

How many people can play?

These investigations are designed for one player. You examine the scene, question the witnesses and decide on the final theory yourself.

How do I unlock more cases?

Cases unlock in order. An incorrect theory still unlocks the next case in the first three. From case four, a correct solution is required; an incorrect theory means a 15-minute wait before retrying.

Which languages are available?

The interface, evidence, statements and case explanations are available in Russian, English and Chinese. Changing the language keeps your progress.

One profile for all your games

You can start as a guest. Sign in to Igrodvor before launching a game to use the same profile and view saved results across devices. Guest progress and profiles from other gaming platforms stay separate.
